Specific research interests include interventions to palliate depression and neurocognitive impairment at end-of-life in all cancer patients; the quantification and remediation of "chemo brain" and other neurocognitive sequelae from chemotherapeutic and radiation treatments; the effect of depression and poor quality of life on length of survival; the interactions among neurocognitive impairment and psychiatric disorders such as anxiety and depression and counseling interventions to improve cancer patients and family quality of life; neuropsychology of cancer; and cancer survivorship.
